Out of respect and commitment to organic farming, the distillery Radermacher opted for a distillate made from organic sugar molasses in her search for raw materials for the development of her Macaya Organic Chocolate Spiced Rum.

After a maturation in American bourbon casks, the rum is filtered over organic cocoa nibs. This process gives the rum its distinctive character, softness and particular roundness.
